MARGARITA, 32 YEARS

Hello there,

I hope everything is well.
My name is Margarita from the Philippines. I’m 27 years of age. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Teachnology. I graduated this course as early as 19 years of age. Instead of dealing with computers, I applied for a teaching job. I taught English to Non-English speaking nationals in Academy for 3 years like Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, and Iranians both online and offline (face to face) education at any levels and ages. Then I became a sales and billing consultant in an Australian Telecommunications Company for 3years as well. as I worked, I also studied and took up my second course in Education. And so by perseverance and above all, by God’s grace, I was able to finish and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers In March 2017. I continued to work hard and was even awarded as the TopSeller Representative in October 2017 by the said company.

In December 2017, I gave up from my job and volunteered to serve the poor community and children in the far off mountains of Mindanao, Philippines. It was one of the major decisions I’ve ever done in my life. I loved my job, the management and colleagues but I felt a big need to give back to the least for all the blessings I’ve had. So I volunteered for about 5months. Those were one of the precious moments in my life.

I am now Professional Teacher in a public National High School. I’m currently teaching the subjects Social Studies, Values and Technology and Livelihood Education for both Grades 7&8.

I am humbled to apply for an au pair position because it’s always been my passion to deal with kids, touch the hearts of people and serve. I can also offer tutorials as part of my service. I love to see kids learn many good things from me and apply them in real life. I can also help with light house chores, do laundry, grocery shopping and even take care of your pets. I believe my interpersonal skill would be a great help in bridging cultural gaps as well. I have confidence with my English skills and apart from that, im recently self-studying Dutch language and hoping to soon communicate using Dutch and many other languages.

I work with full dedication and is always determined to finish the tasks that are assigned to me in a specific time. I can also go along with different temperaments, cultures and races. My previous experiences have taught me so much about understanding differences as we are all culturally diversed. I know I can’t be perfect. There’ll come a time that I won’t fully satisfy your expectations but I can always do my best and can also openly accept positive criticism because I know they will help me to be a better person as a whole. To sum up, I am flexible, teachable and a positive person.:)
