GERALDIN, 30 YEARS

Dear Sir/Ma’am,

First and foremost, I would to introduce myself, my name is Geraldin, Filipino, 23 years old, single and without own kids. I am living in a quiet and peaceful small town of Pilar in the countryside and need to travel three hours to reach the city of Tagbilaran, Bohol, Philippines, well-known for its tourist spots like Chocolate Hills and Tarsier. I come from a big, loving and happy family. My father is a policeman and my mother is a housewife. I have four sisters and three brothers. I am the 4th from the eldest. I graduated Bachelor of Science in Criminology at University of Bohol. I am honest, trustworthy, responsible and cheerful person. My hobbies are singing, dancing and reading fairytale books. I am good in written and oral English. I like cooking Filipino dishes like Adobo, Sinigang and Pinakbet and many more.

I am presently employed as a housemaid and babysitter (November 10, 2015-present).
I am helping out a Filipino family with two cute children Shan Rhea, 5 years old girl and Kenjie, 2 years old boy. Please see my duties and responsibilities below:

• Cooking food
• Setting up the table
• Washing the dishes

• Doing the laundry
• Ironing clothes
• Changing bed linen
• Emptying garbage bag
• Watering the plants and flowers in the garden
• Prepare the food and feed the children
• Give the kids a bath
• Dress the kids up
• Make milk bottles
• Change diapers
• Play with the kids
• Storytelling
• Teach them how to write letters and numbers and on how to read and count
• Take them for a walk in the park and play with other kids in the playground

I want to be an aupair because I believe that this is the perfect opportunity to immerse myself into a new culture, different language, meeting new people and to utilize my experience, knowledge and skills in performing housekeeping and babycare. Performing household chores and taking care of your adorable kids is a very rewarding job for me and it’s my pleasure to help your family. I know that full length of my stay with your wonderful family will give me great memories that I can cherish forever. :)
