LORENCE, 34 YEARS

Dear Family,

Hello, I am Lorence, 28 years old and looking for a host family in Denmark. I am an excellent housekeeper, a good cook and had valuable years of experience in Childcare.

I am looking for a family who is kind and happy and someone who needs help in cooking, babysitting and housekeeping like cleaning, laundry, dish-washing, tidying up, change bedding, ironing and among other household chores. These are the skills that I can impart and share to my future host family.

I am a person who is caring, trustworthy, honest, sweet, respectful, outgoing and happy. My family and friends would always describe me as a thoughtful, friendly and kind person who is always ready to lend a helping hand. My superiors and the parents I worked with say that I am loving, understanding, patient and works with initiative.

I finished my Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and undergone my on-the-job training in Singapore for one and half year as Staff and Management Trainee. I also rendered on-the job training in one food chain assigned as kitchen staff. In 2016, I was able to work as a contractual production worker at Dole Pineapple Company. Presently, I am unemployed while applying as an aupair.

I had wonderful childcare experiences. I have taken care of a five year old nephew, Jolou, for one year. His mother who is my sister was very busy working and I stayed at their house to take care of Jolou. I am very fond of Jolou and we are very close. In the morning, I prepare breakfast and helped him in dressing and getting ready for kinder school. Every day, I take care of his food, snacks and things. I help in his taking a bath, dressing, bringing and picking up to/from kinder school. I also bring him to the playground to play with other children. We love to spend time together playing and doing activities like building blocks, drawing, writing and later going around and discovering things and places. Other times, we watch cartoons, play nursery rhymes and educational music.

For 2 months, in April and May 2015, I was also the nanny of Zian, 3 years old. From December 2016 up to present, while unemployed, I am taking care of Daylight, 6 years old. My babysitting works also included housekeeping and cooking for the family.

With housekeeping, the parents I worked and stayed with, say that I deal the household chores with ease and passion. I also think that I am meticulous, generous and has graceful and joyful attitude towards work. I am healthy and focused and positive. My school training and on-the job experience in Singapore also made me very capable to follow strict housekeeping responsibilities in keeping the work place very clean and tidy. My work also at a food chain “Inasal” also gave me excellent training in cooking, kitchen and housekeeping routines. I enjoyed the gained experience and learning. I am very initiative and can work independently.

I love to cook. I find myself at ease in the kitchen. I can consider myself an excellent cook for Asian dishes. I can cook chicken, pork or beef menus. I also make desserts such as leche flan, macaroni salad and ice cream, and also make cakes and cookies. I am a fast learner and very eager to learn Danish recipes. I would love to cook for my host family.

I am excited to become an aupair in Denmark. I am very interested to experience its beautiful country, language and another culture. I wish to gain the experience of your family lifestyles, values, climate and beautiful places. After my aupair experience, I hope to work in a crew ship and someday, be able to have my own small business.
