Hi future host family, I am a happy, energetic person who has a natural ability to communicate with children, a skill which I think I was born with since it is deeply engrained in my culture being a Filipino. It is the norm (and expectation) in the Philippines that we take care of our younger siblings or cousins which develops us to hone the skills of caring. I also take high priority in children's safety whenever I am with them, knowing that kids in general do not have a sense of safety in their mind once their curiosity kicks in. Being safety conscious is a skill I gained from my experience working in construction company here in the Philippines. I am the type of person who is easy to get along with any kind of people because of my positive energy and smiley face. My hobby includes cooking. I love to cook! It is a tradition in the Philippines to have a feast whenever there is a celebration and I am always willing to give a helping hand when it comes to cooking! I am also into outdoor activities like hiking on hills and in general just exploring different places (for now) here in the Philippines. To be an Aupair is a good experience for me, not only it is a chance for me to meet wonderful people but it will also fulfil my desire to see other places other than my country. I have a lot of good stories about my country which I can share to your family. I am looking forward to talk to you soon!
