ROSE, 28 YEARS

Dear Family!
My name is Rose Leen and I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology, currently working as a Customs Representative. My work and internship in Provincial Capitol of Laguna, provided me a brief experience in nurturing a person and my studies as a graduated of BS Psychology ,I know how to handle a children. I expect to be part of a harmonious family, get to know their way of life, their culture and certainly, exchange information about my home country. I am social, positive,can easily grasps new things quickly ,flexible and responsible person who can easily fit into a new environment. I also like sport, music, art and theater and I love spending my spare-time on these activities. Teaching for me is an interesting mix of fun and pleasure, and a great way to learn the native language of the host family.

When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. I loved taking care of children like my niece, I always loved to take care of her. I also organized for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities: we sang, danced, played games, role played, drew, painted, and narrated stories. We also visited the public library, the local animal park, went out on picnics, a camping trip and go to church.

I have helped my parents look after my little niece Bellamy Bryn., I was much more involved in caring for her on a daily basis. In addition, my niece, also spend a lot of time playing with our neighbor’s children Cody (aged 3), so from time to time I find myself in their ever-animated company. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children.

When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book.

As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 6 months- 2 years. I would also prefer looking after children aged between 6 months to 15 years.

I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you: to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare experiences; to learn more about your family; your interests and to know more about what you expect from the au pair arrangement.
