MALOU, 24 YEARS

Growing up as the youngest of four siblings in the Philippines, I was immersed in a close-knit and nurturing family environment. This upbringing instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility and compassion from an early age. Pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing further solidified my passion for caregiving and equipped me with the necessary skills to provide exceptional care. During my four-year hospital internship as part of my nursing education, I gained invaluable hands-on experience in patient care. The hospital setting taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and attention to detail in providing quality healthcare. Additionally, I had the privilege of caring for my grandmother before she passed away. This experience was profound, deepening my understanding of the significance of compassionate care for the elderly. Beyond my professional training, I have actively contributed to my extended family's caregiving needs. Assisting in the care of my nieces and nephews has been both rewarding and enlightening. With no food allergies and excellent health, I am well-equipped to handle any household tasks or challenges that may arise. As a pet owner myself, I understand the joy and companionship that furry friends bring to a household. Maui, my American Bully, is not just a pet but a beloved member of my family.
