RICA, 26 YEARS

My parents are middle-class and I am the eldest child who works for the government. My dad works as a town councillor, and my mother is a midwife. I'm surrounded by pregnant ladies and children from the age of one to ten because my mother is a midwife. In addition to serving as the town councilor, my dad officiates basketball games, and I serve as a table official. We regularly host a basketball league for children ages 13 and under to foster their sense of sportsmanship, discipline, and camaraderie. My two younger siblings are here. My younger brother has already received his degree and is getting ready for his next test and job. In contrast, my younger sister is a second-year student of midwifery and is still in school. I had the opportunity to participate in several training sessions offered by our school while I was studying, including first aid classes run by the Philippine Red Cross and basic occupational safety and health training run by the Department of Labor and Employment. I also possess national competency in cooking, housekeeping, and FBs with training; but, as my profession is unrelated to this training, I was unable to renew my certificate in housekeeping and FBs. I hope that this training will make it possible for me to assist your family. It is expected of us as Filipinos that we can converse with anyone in basic English. Apart from that, I tried picking up languages like German and Japanese. I'm currently learning on my own, so for now I just know the basics, especially in German.
