LEAH, 24 YEARS

Dear host family, My name is Leah-Mae Divina Pascua but you can call me "Leah" , a 24 year old female from the Philippines . I'm currently doing all around work on my mothers food and convenience store small business. I'd love to be an au pair in Europe to see what the world has to offer, I am so interested in learning new cultures, trying new foods, exploring new languages and knowledge on how different people live. I love kids as I'm from a big family, I am the eldest in our family and I always remember and cherish the days when I took care of my siblings and cousins when they were little. My Family and Friends I'm the first born in a family of 6, 2 sisters and 1 brother they are all studying. My both parents are still working for our family daily needs and to support my siblings in their education . As a dancer and performer of a cultural dance troupe in our city I've met a lot of friends and companions, we build unforgettable memories that we will always cherish even as the time passes and it helped to develop my socialization skills. We have 5 dogs named Potchi, Snowpy, Rem-rem, Cutie pye and Jumpy. I also took care of our pet, I fed, bathed and played with them. We treat them as a member of our family. My experience with kids I have had, to take care of my neighbor's children, the first child is an 11 year old female. I love to teach her how to dance and she's like my second sister to me. The second child is a 6 year old male I love to teach him how to read, write, draw and speak in the universal language which is English. He's a little bit naughty but I can handle it. The last child is 2 year old now, I started to take care of her when she was 8 months old. This little girl is so adorable. I love to play with her, feed her, bathe her and take care of her etc. Sometimes when I have free and available time I used to do one of my hobbies which is cooking. I cooked delicious and healthy food and gave it to my neighbors' children. My motivation I'd love to explore Europe and beautiful different cultures, I only saw it on social media. I don't have enough money to do that so au pair is a perfect opportunity for me to both explore Europe and take care of kids which I love to do. I was also motivated to give my family and my own future family a better life someday. My expectation I expect to grow with the host family, integrate and live as one big family supporting each other.
