Dear Host Family
I am Dexebelle, single and 26 years old. My father's name is Diomedes, and he is a fisherman. My mother's name is Analiza and she is just a plain housewife. My town is in Ibung Villaverde Nueva Vizcaya Philippines.
I am currently working in Hong Kong as Domestic Helper. My worked specifically includes; doing all the housework’s like cleaning the house, cooking, laundry, ironing, taking care of the kid which is I’m going to feed him, take him to do bath and shower. Helping him making assignments in school, sending and picking up them from school, marketing, washing the car. Only one child I’m taking care of it now and his 3 years old and becoming 4 years old this coming June.
I’m am witty, smart, loves to cook Asian food. Loves playing with the kids and reading books to them. I am a calm, responsible, mature person who gets on well with children (and adults too).
It is fun to learn the culture of different countries. I also love children. Being an au pair is a great experience because taking care of children is a responsibility that you will have for the rest of your life. For me, being part of a family and having children to take care of makes a happy feeling because I was able to teach and mold them to be who they are when they grow up. I may not be in the total sum up of who they are in the future. But I know somewhere in their personality is a little lesson gained from me. They may not remember my name and my face but i know somewhere in their hearts, they will remember what i have taught them. An au pair is not an easy job but when you are enjoying it, it will be fun and easier. For me au pair is a job where you need to have the long lasting patience, loving and understanding attitude.
