LAIZA, 24 YEARS

Dear Host Family, I am Laiza Cruda, 23 years old from Philippines and I am single with no kids. I am a college undergraduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Right now, I am working in our family business which is Sari-sari store, I help my mom managed it. During my free time, I clean the house, read books and going out with friends. I also love travelling and exploring amazing places like beaches, museums, or any other tourist destinations. I came from a big family as I have 6 siblings (4 brothers and 2 sisters) but 3 of my brothers are already married and 1 of my sister is also married and most of them don’t live with us. Growing up, my parents taught us to be independent and support each other in any way. I can say that we keep the tradition of being a close knit family. During my free time, I tidy up all the rooms, fix kids toys and clean all the mess in the house. I also cook light meals. And since I lived with a big family there’s a lot of kids which is my nieces and nephews, they are 11 in total ages from 1-9. I used to take good care of them whenever their parents are working or have some important things to do. I play with them, cook for them, help them eat, take a bath and I also make school-related activity to keep them active. One of my niece who’s 6 years old always wants me by her side because I always prepare her lunchbox, make her hair everyday and prepare her uniform and whenever their parents can’t attend meetings or activities in their school I am the one who attend and sometimes I am the one who bring and pick her up in school. My nieces and nephews are my stress reliever. I truly enjoy being with kids. And I can say that I bring positivity to them. I want to become an Au Pair to learn different culture, languages and their traditions.I hope you will consider me as your potential Au Pair for your family. Thank you!
