ASPIRING AUPAIR - 24 YEARS OLD - SINGLE
Hi, I’m Janena, a graduate of Tourism Management here in the Philippines. They call me Tingcool or Twinkle, single, have never been married, and don't have children of my own. I only have a dog, his name is Teddy. I am 24 years old and can speak English very well. I was also a working student back in college which helped me to graduate. I am currently working in a claims company as a business process associate and am working for over two years now.
I am well aware that I don’t have any experience/s in being an AuPair but I am very interested in this program and I understand that this is an exchange cultural program which is a privilege for everyone who is willing and is truly eager to learn new things, knowledge, experiences, and language in other countries.
- I have a very bright personality and am very active in activities that can be good for the kids and for the family who is willing to host me. I am a very well-mannered, patient, very empathetic person, and am well at doing household chores.
- I have a sister younger than me and I am well aware that being a good sister comes with responsibilities and will not always be playing and having fun. In my family, I am a breadwinner, I provide for my family and I also do the groceries, and help my sister with the chores and other housework.
- In my free time, I would likely go to cafes or beaches, and if I feel like not going out, I watch animes and Korean dramas.
-I know that in the first couple of days, I will be exhausted because of travel and any other things but I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routines quickly and will be a big help for you.
- If something is not quite working well or I am uncomfortable, I prefer to talk about it instead of ignoring it which can be toxic for both of us.
- I don’t yet have a driver’s license although I had already passed my student’s license here in the Philippines. However, if you would like to require that, I would love to learn it and pass the license.
I know juggling family duties and work is very hard and stressful at the same time but for an aspiring AuPair, here I am willing to provide any good help that is needed for you and for you to be able to focus and lighten up your workload at the same time gaining myself some knowledge and learning new experiences.
I hope that I will catch a very good family host’s attention with my letter. I would love to hear from you and get to know you more.
Sincerely,
Janena
