Dear Host Family, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Hamberlyn, you can call me “Ham”, 26 years old living in the Philippines. I am writing to express my interest of becoming your Au Pair. I am excited about the opportunity to join your family and experience a new culture. I graduated bachelor of Science in Secondary Education last 2018 but currently working into one of the Business Processing Outsourcing Company in the Country as an Administrative Staff. Throughout my journey working in the BPO Industry, I gained a valuable experience in dealing with different types of people from various countries. I am a person that respect cultural diversity and value individual opinion. One of the reasons why I aspire to become an Au Pair is to explore different culture and tradition as well as meeting new people and I feel like this is the perfect opportunity for me to get out of my comfort zone to explore the unknown. I have never been an Au Pair neither had a professional training about taking care of children, but I grew up around children of all ages. I used to babysit my brother after classes and during weekends. Even my Niece and Nephews during summer and Christmas breaks, but not expert. I have 10+ years’ experience in babysitting. I am also open to do household chores. I enjoy listening to music, reading and spending time with nature every chance I get. I am responsible and reliable person and very observant as well. I enjoy being with children as they will also bring out the child in me. As an Au Pair I value and understand the importance of open communication between me and the host family, and I am confident that I can contribute positively to your family.
