I am a 24 y/o Filipina. I am a big sister of 2 younger siblings ages 18 and 10; I have a good relationship with my siblings and I am acting as their second parent. I could say that I have the ability to make other people see a “big sister” figure in me as I act one in any friend group that I am in as well as with my cousins who doesn’t have an older sister. I love kids. I love being around them. This would be a 360 degree career change for me but this is definitely going to be worth it as I would be able to finally do what I love which is to be around kids and a bonus of being exposed/introduced to other culture.
