THEA, 22 YEARS

Dear Family, My name is Thea. I’m a happy, smily and outgoing 18 years old girl, who loves challenges and new experiences. I would love to take care of your children, spend a lot of time with them, play with them, help them and laugh with them. I really love spending time with kids, but I will of course help with dinner, cleaning and other stuff too - just like I'm a member of your family. Also, I really like learning about new cultures, going on adventures, exploring new countries, and I can't think of a better start on my "life adventure", than combining being an au pair with the traveling. I live in Denmark, with my family on 5. My mom and dad, my brother (15) and my sister (10). We do also have a lovely dog, so if you have any pets I will of course help/spending time with them too:) We are located in a small town, and I really love the society of living in a small town, being part of a lot of voluntary work, and spend a lot of time with my friends. I come from a very active family. I've always loved sports, and my entire life I've been playing soccer. At the moment I also play badminton too, and then I'm voluntary soccer-coach for some kids aged 4 to 5 years old. Therefore I hope that you are an active family, and maybe I also will learn some new games then. This Summer, I attended high school, called Aalborghus Gymnasium and now I‘m looking forward to become an au pair. My biggest dream and passion is to become a sports reporter. My plan is to start studying when I get back from my time as an au pair. Previously, I have worked in a shop for 1 1/2 years. I was cleaning, set of the cash register, put goods in places etc. I have also been a nanny for a couple of twins for 2 years, and then a soccer coach for 5 years. All of this have made me very responsible and actionable. I have a big love for taking care of children and a just as big love for traveling and experiencing new cultures, countries and making unforgettable memories. This is why being an au pair is the perfect match for me, because being an au pair is much more than just a job. I consider myself as a fun, energetic and caring girl but most important is that I am patient and responsible (flexible), which also makes au pair the perfect match for me. You can expect that I will do house-cleaning, dinner, helping with homeworks etc. - but most of all have a lovely time with your family with a lot of indispensable laughs.
