MEGAN, 22 YEARS

Dear host families, my name is Megan and I am from Germany. I am currently 17 years old but I will be turning 18 in September. For some this might be too young to even consider taking me as an au-pair, but I have a lot of experience and I get a long very well with children. I grew up as the oldest sister of four siblings an I am used to looking after and caring for kids. Additionally I have a degree in babysitting an a degree in mediating that both enhance my ability as an au-pair. Since I grew up bilingual I consider both English and German as mother tongues and I am fluent in Spanish and French. I am a very openminded, cheerful and energetic person. I love to do every kind of sports and outdoor activities but I also enjoy reading, cooking, baking and painting.
I have already spent some time abroad without my family various times, as for example an exchange to the Canary Islands for four weeks.
We have had au-pairs ourselves when I was younger and I have only good memories of these times.We are still in contact with a lot of them and I hope to find a family that will give me the opportunity to experience being an au-pair myself.
