AMANDA, 23 YEARS

Hi!

My name is Amanda, I am 19 years old and come from Bornholm - known as "solskinsøen" (the sunshine island) in Denmark. I now live in Hillerød (also Denmark) and work independently on social media.

- JOBS:
this summer i became a student and for that reason, i am looking for a full-time job that can develop me as much as possible. I am currently working as a caregiver for people with severe physical and / or mental problems. I have only worked there since mid-August, but the short process has already been the most educational job I have had.
I previously worked in the summer of 2017 at school for elders. Here I served and prepared food. After this summer I moved to Copenhagen to study film / TV - which is my biggest passion! Them I moved back to Bornholm, where I went to high shcool, to expand my educational opportunities.
In the summer of 2019, I took care of children as my only job. It gave me a lot of knowledge about the good and hard episodes with children.

-WHO AM I?
I would describe myself as a fresh girl who can be a little restless at times. I like to have plans, or things to do. In addition, I spend a lot of my energy observing people around me, and love meeting new people and getting to know people. I would therefore also think that I am ideal for the job as an au pair.
And not to brag, I also love to cook. It may sound too good to be true, but I really enjoy experimenting in a kitchen and letting others taste my food.
Without sounding too solemn, I have actually made my own little cookbook, which has received much praise from friends and family. I personally also think that my recipes taste excellent :) - and an extra small bonus is that I even bake super good cakes!

Besides cooking, I spend a lot of my free time with my friends. I am very socially minded, and I often get described as the funny girl in the group. Although I am a fun girl with at lot of energy, I also have a serious and conscientious side. I can easily take on a lot of responsibility, and am a very independent girl.
and finally, I'm very interested in photography and film. I have even received well-taught instruction in photography, and experiment with it when I have time.

Practically speaking, I do not have a driver's license. I should have started in 2020, but due to corona this has been canceled. If I get into a situation where I need a driver's license, I will of course get it done. if possible, I would like to take it while working for a family.
