ANNA, 26 YEARS

Dear my future host family!
My name is Anna Szöllösi, I come from the small country Denmark. I Am 20 years old and live in Copenhagen. My Mom is from Denmark where I live and my Dad is from Hungary. Currently I work 2 places. 1 is at a Hospital here in Copenhagen, here I spend most of my week Making food for the patients and serve it to them. My 2 job is also in a kitchen, but in a caretaking home for elderly people, but I basically do the same thing. Most of my week I work, but most weekends I also take care of 2 girls (10 and 9 years old). I babysit them and have done it for a lot of years now, but it has gotten more serious the older i am. I take care of them in the weekends, mostly in the afternoon until night. We do a lot of activities. I sometimes babysit a younger girl who is just 5 years old, but she’s very sweet so I really enjoy it.

But more about myself, I have finished High School (Business High School) and have taken 2 semesters at University. I took a semester in China where I studied business, I also took a semester here at University of Copenhagen. But because I really would love to try live with a family in a different country, I have decided I wait with finishing University until I feel ready. And because I love children and cultures I really would love to become an au pair. I have always had a dream of going to Australia, so I really think that would be the perfect place for me to become au pair in.

When im not working, I like to go outside and do some activities, to go out with my friends, listen to music, learning and reading about different cultures, and cooking.
I also love animals and have always had a Cat and a dog. I also have fish but they don’t do much. I am very hardworking, and I have been studying and had 2 works at the same time. So, I can handle working a lot.
I would say I am a very open person, I am very caring and I am very active. I really like to swim and would love to teach it, if they can’t swim. I don’t really have much time to do much sport but I really like badminton.
I try to cook a lot of different things, I like cooking Danish food, but also food from all around the world. I think baking is very fun too.

I speak fluent Danish and English, but my English can always use some improvement.
I also have a basic knowledge of Norwegian, Swedish, German and Chinese (Mandarin).
