MIKKEL, 24 YEARS

Hi, my name is Mikkel I´m a 21-year-old young man, who lives in Herning, Denmark.
I love traveling and exploring the world and seeing different cultures.
I´ve always been fascinated about the American culture and the country itself. I´ve been dreaming about living in the US for pretty much a decade now and I’ve dreamt of moving there to settle down for some years if not for good.

I love playing sports and my favorite sport by far is basketball. I´ve played it myself in a club in my hometown and I´ve followed the NBA for a lot of years now.

I went on a road trip in the SW USA with my dad back in the summer of 2017 which was a dream come true and the most breathtaking and amazing vacation ever.

In my spare time I love being active, whether it´s going for a walk, running, playing sports or just being outdoors. I definitely rarely enjoy just sitting down doing nothing for long periods of time.

I´m a hardworking and dedicated guy who loves new challenges and pushing myself to the limit to strive for perfection in everything I do. No task will ever be too much, and I will always strive to find a solution to any problems I may face.
I have always loved kids because I love the idea of helping them grow up and helping them learn new things and building them as young people and seeing them progress in there rise to become the next generation. I love being active with them and playing all kinds of sports and activities with them, so they can be tired come bedtime.
I´m used to doing all kinds of chores around the house since I´ve lived in my own apartment for about a year now.

I´ve studied to become a sales assistant and I´ve finished the main part of the education and I now only need two years of internship to finish it completely. But ever since the Covid-19 pandemic struck it´s been virtually impossible to acquire an internship. So, I´ve chosen to shelf that for a bit and solely focus on chasing my real dream which is to experience living in the US firsthand.

My very best friend who´s also been like my big brother since we met is from Portland, OR but now he lives with his wife and daughter here in Herning. Meeting him only fueled my fire to follow this dream and to get there and try living an everyday life in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
