MIE, 23 YEARS

Hi! I'm Mie, a Danish citizen who speaks both Danish and English, and a ridiculously small amount of Spanish, German, and Chinese... For the past 1.5 year I've been babysitting two lovely girls aged 5-7 here in Denmark. I have a younger sister of my own, which have given me plenty of day to day practice in childcare. An patience. Lots patience... I'm currently working as a part timer in an after school program at a school, I've voulenteered with Red Cross at a care center for voulnerable mothers, where I with 1-2 other teenagers entertained the kids for a few hours on Saturdays, and I've spent 4 weeks on Utopia Guide School specializing in children and their entertainment. I'm more crafty than sporty, I love being artsy, and I think it's important to inspire kids and encourage them when they show talents or interests. I get attached to the children I care for, and I always try to go the extra mile to make them feel safe and at ease.
