NANNA, 29 YEARS

Dear future host family,
My name is Nanna and I’m from Denmark!

I'm 23 years old and I finished High School in 2013. During my gab years since High School I have worked in several positions over the last years, close to humans, to improve my competences for re-applying for the midwife education. Finally, I got in, and I’ll start February 5th 2018 as a midwife student.

I enjoy to work close to other people. I have been working in an elderly center, and later as a carer for a young girl with a disability. It was my job to assist and support her in her daily tasks. From February 2017 until this summer, I have been working in UK, as a carer for a disabled man, paralyzed from his shoulders and down. As you may see I’m a woman who’s motivated by doing a good job, while doing a difference to others. I enjoy working close to other human, and I think that my personality is able to handle many different ages - children, as well. I love spending time with them and, play and have fun. I have worked as a ski instructor in Austria, and I was the leader of *Kids world”, where my everyday task was to take good care of the youngest kids. Trying to learn them how to ski, and also make them fell comfortable in a very different situation, without their parents. This experience was the funniest, best and hardest job, all at the same time! I’ve learned so much about kids and how to take really good care and understand them. I would do it again every year, if it was possible.

You will see that I am a productive young woman with a fresh breath of humor, spaciousness and I am able to keep an overview. I am an open-minded, kind and reliable person and I am strong to do physical tasks. Moreover, I can work with tact and respect.

My hobbies are spending time with family and friends, to cook and bake – afterwards I enjoy to eat it! :) And then, when I have eaten to much I’m now and then going for a run or fitness, to keep myself healthy. I read books and listen to a lot of music.

I would like to use this opportunity to live with your family for a short term, to strengthen my knowledge and experience in a different country and culture while improving my language and have a good time with your kids and you as a family.
