Dear Family

My name is Thea and I'm 20 years old. I'm a happy girl with a great curiosity of new cultures.
About me
I have since I was 7 years old played football, which is a big passion of mine. I may like football but I'm also a really girly girl at the same time. I've always been a very independent girl who isn't afraid of being on her own and going on new adventures.

I used to babysit a 3-year-old boy for 4 hours a week for approximately one school year at the age of 15 before I went to boarding school, to play a lot of football (Danish boarding schools differs from a "regular" boarding school).

My family consist of my mum, dad and my younger brother. We live in at small city in Jutland, but very close to everything.

Why do you want to be an au pair?
I want to go to a foreign country and experience new cultures and become better at the language of my host country.
I have always loved new cultures and think the best way to get to know a country is through the people.
I have also always loved spending a lot of time with kids, even though they can be a challenge sometimes.
By choosing to become an Au Pair I get the chance to be with kids a lot, get to know a family, a new culture and language.
Many years ago my mum chose to become Au Pair and had an amazing experience and got friends for life, which is what I hope to experience as well.
