A MULTICULTURAL, RESPONSIBLE BUT YET A FUN AU PAIR
Dear future host family
If you're looking for a multicultural, responsible but yet a fun girl then I may be the au pair for your family :)
About me
I'm really bad at describing myself, but I'm willing to give this thing a try :).
My name is Lady(this is no joke, my name is really Lady).
I'm a 19 year old girl who lives in Copenhagen. I’m originally from The Democratic Republic of Congo. I was born there, but I've basically lived in Denmark my entire life. Therefore I’m a multicultural girl, since I've experienced both culture. That also mean that integrated into a new culture would come easily to me.
Also another benefit of being from a different country then the one I live in, is that I'm bilingual. I speak I speak 3 languages fluently, English, Danish & swahili. I wouldn't say that my French is fluent, but have had 3 years of french in school and my parents have always spoken French to me. If I had to describe my level of French, I would say that I understand more than I speak.
I would really like to improve my French but also learn about another country's culture. So therefore I'm mostly looking for a french speaking family, who's preferably located in a french-speaking country such as, Luxembourg, Belgium, or France.
Why I decided to become an au pair?
Beside learning about another country’s culture and language, I’ve always loved kids. I have a big family so I’ve always been surrounded by kids of all ages. I think that kids are incredible, and I’ve always been intrigued by their minds. How they always seem to be so generous with their positivity, their love and caring.
At the moment I don't have a driving licens, but I can defientlyy get it before I become your au pair, if there's need for that.
I also like the thought of them seeing me as a big sister who’s always going to be there for them at all times. Supporting them, helping them, caring for them, loving them and basically just watching them grow and become incredibly human beings
As mentioned earlier I speak fluently english, so if there's a need for teaching the kids better english, then I can definitely do that.
I know that by working as an au pair is sometime going to be draining and hard but at the end of the day, I think it’s very rewarding “job since you going to have an impact on a kid's life.
If you guys have any questions be free to ask!
Much love
Lady Matwara :)
