DENISSE, 25 YEARS

I love strong hugs that make me feel at home, I am a protective and pampering girl because I also like to be protected and pampered. I am a woman full of principles and values, I am sensitive, organized and very disciplined. I am passionate about helping people in need, volunteering, creating unforgettable moments, inspiring and being inspired🌻. My descendants on my mother's side are Danish, since my grandfather Jorgen Wilcken was Danish from the city of Hellerup and my descendants on my father's side are Colombian. I am the older sister of 2 brothers, David, the middle one, who is 20 years old, and the youngest, called Emmanuel, who is currently 7 years old, so I can tell you what it is like to live with male brothers and it is the best. On weekends, especially in the mornings, we really love to play tennis🎾🎾, we also ride bicycles because we love to enjoy the landscapes and sunsets, we also love to enjoy food, play video games and have quality time with friends is very important. With my mom and dad we love to travel and see new places, have new experiences, with my uncles to have adventures🏕️ and with my grandmother to bake🍪🍪. Although my family is not perfect, my parents are divorced, my relationship with them is incredible, we always support each other, we help each other, my parents are my best friends and my brothers are my best gifts. I am currently doing some pedagogy workshops to better understand the world of children and do my role as an Au Pair very well once I find my family. Apart from this, I completed my professional career in architecture 1 and a half year ago, I also had the opportunity to study English and certify this language in Canada specifically in the city of Toronto. I love to study a lot, this is part of my training, and for this reason I would like my family to help me improve my language skills by giving me the opportunity to study a language course and also develop my professional field. This experience will allow me to perfect this language even more and will be a push to fulfill my heart's desire and be able to pursue a master's degree in my profession.👷🏼‍♀️🌻 Although I am at home most of the time, I love spending quality time with my family traveling, visiting small towns by road, taking photos of the local architecture and enjoying the beautiful Colombian landscapes with a good coffee that actually fascinates me. I am happy attending church on weekends with my family and friends. I also love training tennis during the week and on weekends. I really like sports and healthy food. With my brother Davibefore going to sleep talking about our day with a record player in the background and a good boiling coffee, this has become our time as brothers and with the youngest Emmanuel we tell him stories and laugh out loud. 🤪 Regarding my experience caring for children, I can tell you that I have had the opportunity to be a missionary in regions of my country such as La Guajira and El Chocó, where poverty abounds so there I was privileged since I was in charge of indigenous children between 5 and 10 years old. Before going to these lands, they trained me, trained me, and taught me their language to be able to communicate with them; My mission was to help these children, feeding them not only physically but also spiritually, teaching them to play an instrument, to paint, teaching them to pray, to be grateful, and most importantly to give them HOPE! ❤️. In addition to this, raising my 2 younger brothers since they were born, helping to change their diaper, teaching them to ride a bike, giving them food, preparing their lunchbox, helping them with their schoolwork, teaching them recipes at home, playing with them and Although my brothers have learned from me, I have also learned a lot from them🤓. We are always there to support each other, in moments of sadness but also in moments of happiness👩‍👦‍👦 My native language is Spanish, I am certified with a B2 in English but since I have not put it into practice it is a little rusty but I will look for the right tools to improve it such as a language course, movies, applications, activities and games. I have also decided to learn 3 languages and I am sure that I will learn and improve much more in this experience with your help family ✨🥹 My greatest motivation is to support my host family with the care of their children. I am captivated by the idea of being another daughter and a little sister in my future family, I am very excited to think about all the unforgettable moments that we will create as a family. This is a big challenge and I want to do it well. Furthermore, it motivates me that this experience will help me in my life project, both personal and professional, it will help me develop new communication skills and of course it will help me polish and enrich my second and third languages. 👓 One of my expectations is to be able to win the hearts of the children and the entire family, uncles, cousins, grandparents, the whole family. Be that older sister to support them, advise them, love them and be another daughter with a teachable heart, so that you advise me, guide me and teach me, that they make me feel and be another member of the family. I also want to significantly improve my language level to prepare myself professionally and, in the process, travel, know and explore the world with you🤍👨‍👩‍👧 I love dogs 🐕, I love flowers 🌻 and sunsets make me fall in love. I try to take care of my physical, emotional and spiritual health. I am passionate about serving God, I am a Christian, and the church is like my second home.
