XIN, 29 YEARS

Dear host family,
Nice to know you, I would like to introduce myself so that you could get to know more about my family and why I want to become an Au pair.
My name is Feng xin, I turn to 25 years old this year. I come from Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province. Lianyungang is a coastal and third-tier city. I majored in Finance in Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and graduated in 2017. After graduation, I worked in Wuxi for 6 months and now I work in Shanghai.
I’m an easy-going, reliable and independent girl. I made many friends and learned a lot of knowledge at college and work. Meanwhile ,I’m a person who is positive ,optimistic and willing to take challenges!
I was brought up in a traditional Chinese family with five members. They are my mom, my dad, my little sister, my little brother and me. Both my parents are farmers who are hard-working and kind-hearted. They raise me to be honest and independent. I need to take care of my little sister and brother and do some housework when they out to work. Now, my little sister and brother are grow up, graduated from colleges and are working in Wuxi. I always get together on weekends because it only takes about 30 minutes for shanghai to wuxi by high-speed railway. Thanks to my family, I had a happy childhood.
l learned how to take care of newborn after my nephew binbin was born. He is so small and soft that l don’t even dare to hold him at first. But my aunt encouraged me to have a try. I learned how to hold baby, prepare bottle, change diaper, study knowledge of raising baby, ect. Now, the little baby is 6 years old and become a pre-school students. Sometimes I tell him story, teach him to write Chinese charactor and count. Binbin is a shy boy , need more time and patient to let him to accept you .
My friend’s nephew lele, is an active and curious about eveything and always ask why. I often took lele to the park, supermarket, museum or enjoy the sunshine and so on. Sometimes, we take him play with other children of neighbrohood, sometimes I teach lele to know and recogenize car logos. I would take thermos cup to supplement water. We need tell story or play music let lele to take a nap after lunch. And now he is in the second grade of primary school.
Haohao is my colleague’s son and ten years old .He is very smart and positive. Usually, he do his homework first, then I help him to check it . We play the basketball with his friends on Sunday. Sometimes I teach haohao to ride a bike or enjoy the reading time. I enjoyed the time with haohao and his friends. They are simple, happy and full of imagination. Meanwhile I can learn some good things from them .
I learned to adapt different environment after I graduated from high school. So, l believe that I can get used to the Au pair life rapidly, especially under some kindly guide from your family .
I have a lot of hobbies. In my spare time, l enjoy jogging, hikin, reading ,music and so on. I sometimes do some outdoor activities like playing basketball or badminton with my friends. I sometimes cooking some home food like tomato omelette. Meanwhile, getting in touch with many new things is also an exciting experience.
After Au pair program, I will return to my hometown and keep on learning. Au pair program will be a wise choice which I would never regret I would cherish everyone who will appear in my life. If you come to visit my hometown one day, I will be pleased to be your best guide just as you have ever done for me!
