CAROLIN, 25 YEARS

Dear future host family,

Hi future host family, My name is Carolin,I would like to describe myself with this letter . It was always a great dream of mine to live and work in a foreign country and I am really exciting that it will become reality soon. I would like to go abroad. I want to improve my English after this Au Pair experience .

I would like to tell something about me and something about my family:

I have a wondreful family.There are my parents . my younger sister (she is 11 years old )and me . My mother is a housewife who help my father’s business a lot .
My father opens a restaurant who owns his small business, we always spend time together .
I have a good relationship with my sister and my parents . Sometimes there is a little quarrel but I think this is normal and we try to resolve our problems together .Now it is time to talk about myself:

I’m turning to 20 years old this year , I live with my parents in China .I study English as my major in the college in Shaoxing ,Zhejiang province . I am a creative and ambitious young girl who has a lot of ideas about my future .My hobbies are singing and listening music . I am good at singing more than that I used to have my own band in my college , besides , I do some gigs in my school . Also learned drawing for a while.I like to work out and some other outdoor activities like hiking and cycling . I am open-minded ,outgoing,positve and easygoing, easy to get along with, so most of children will like me very soon.
I have some experiences of taking care of children ,plus , I like children. At the beginning I looked after my sister when she was born and as time went by I got more and more responsibility .I always try my best .

It is not easy to take care of children but it is a great experiences to share some time with them . I have much patience . I think it is the wrong way to shout at children . I have strength to set them limits if necessary .

It is a dream of mine to go to abroad and I can combine it with wonderful and interesting job to take care for your children .

I am independent ,I can cook by myself and wash clothes by my own , also could take care of myself well .I do not have problems to help in the household . I really love cooking and I like to taste other foods .I can some Chinese food for you , it is really delicious .

One of my best characteristics is my tolerance . Nowadays it is important to be tolerant because there are so many different countries and traditions .

I will glad to read some Chinese poem to children ,teach Chinese, play games with them and send them to school also pick them up , sometimes can take them out with host family permission .I am sure children will enjoy spending time with me .

I hope my future host family will provide me a car and pay the gas fee , i will have my own big room with window and bathroom ,hope family could pay the language lessons , and insurance , free food , free meal at home ,free WI-FI and internet ,hope they can take me to holiday if they want to travel for holidays , i also hope family could pay all if they take me to holiday too .

I hope my future host family could treat me good as a member of family and could be very good friends, we can talk about anything .

I will be able to go abroad in June and stay for a year .

I passed my driving test in April last year , and i would be happy to drive in abroad.

I hope that I am the right person to take care of your children , I am looking forward to hearing from you soon and be a memeber of your family !
