EMILY, 30 YEARS

Dear Family,

My name is Emily. I am a 23-year-old Chinese girl living in China. I'm studying in college. I play the Chinese traditional instrument-Erhu and I also enjoy doing craft work such as making pupperts or drawing. I love children, I'm very patient and I like to spend my day helping them in everything they need. I would like to meet a family and become a part of their everyday life when being an Au Pair.

I have been looking after children aged between 2-7 years as well as teenagers. I find it very fascinating when I need to come up with many ideas as what to do with children, how to fill their playtime. I always aim to use the time in such a way that it inspires and encourages children to awaken their creativity.

I am a very parient and calm person and this is an advantage in my personality whih I value a lot. Unfortunately, I am the only child in my family so I wish I had brothers or sisiters.

I would like to become an Au Pair because spedning time with children brings such a joy into my life. It allows me to see the world in different coulours that only children can show us. I would also like to improve my linguistic skills and learn to speak Danish.

I'm good at cooking. I can make some Chinese food if you want.

I like playing volleyball and I like singing though I’m not sing very well : )

I have learned some first aid skills.

I can swim and ride bicycles. I have the drive license but drive not often.

I have once been a volunteer and have got certain experience. Helping others makes me happy.
