ANDREA, 31 YEARS

Dear future host family: My name is Andrea, I'm 28 years old and I'm from Chile. I am currently living in Copenhagen as I am finishing my working holiday visa that started past August. In the 8+ months I've been living here, I've fallen in love with the country, the culture, the people, the landscapes... pretty much everything! Unfortunately the covid virus hasn't let me enjoy this experience as much as I would've liked to and I feel like I need more of it.. During my period here I fully worked in cleaning so I can be of big help when it comes to tidying up your house. When it comes to children I grew up an only child so I've been constantly looking for kids around me, cousins, friend's children and babysitted as much as I could, since I like being around children.. I was also a math tutor for 8-14 years old in high school but I've taken care of kids as young as 6 months old. About me: I love cooking, specially my favourite chilean dishes, trying to practice my mother and grandmothers recipes. I'm a very active person, very much into sports and a healthy lifestyle, I used to play football in my old work back in Chile and basketball in college. I love watching movies, spending time with friends and travelling (while I haven't done much of that last one lately) Thanks to working on a ski resort in Park City, USA a couple of years ago, I'm fluent in english and also a great baker! You can expect a committed and responsible person, someone who likes staying busy, a bit of a perfectionist but also very friendly, happy, caring and loving (and also a bit of a nerd when it comes to board games and animal lover! Family is the most important thing in the world for me so I would love to be a part of yours and help each other learn of our cultures and traditions (and maybe even language!)
