MARIA, 24 YEARS

To introduce myself, I am writing to tell you about myself and my experiences with children. I consider myself to be patient, caring, mature, a responsible person, a creative and ambitious young woman because I have a lot of ideas about my future and plans become a aupair is one of them.

At the beginning I looked after my neighbor and as time went by the adults trusted in me and so I got more and more responsibility. I tried (and I naturally try) hard to do my best. I got my first paid job at the age of 16, worked in a bank( I was responsible for the whole organization of files and help in the attendance when necessary) I consider myself a very organized person I believe that was one of the reasons that I had as task to organize the files, I am also a very communicative and extroverted person I always try to be polite, creative and humorous..

Last year my aunt had a stroke, I had been helping her look after her 2 young daughters Ana Liz (3 years) and Livia (1 year and half) My tasks were to prepare food for the princess, to prepare Ana Liz for school and take the little girls to bed. My job was not very strenuous because the kids was a nice and quiet and I was proud that the parents trusted me.

I worked in an nurserye shortly, it was on a voluntary basis, it's been great to be able to see the world through the eyes of a child, to teach and learn with them. From all this experiences I discovered how much I enjoy work with kids and that I want do in the future,after my aupair experience I plan study pedagogy.
Now I been with a hostfamily in the Uk, I look after Ashie a very cute little boy, he’s almost 2 years, It’s been a very nice experience for me, and I can give you references of my hostfamily here and explain more about my routine, feel free to ask me.
I do not have problems to help in the household. I really love cooking its One of my hobbies, and I can cook really well At home I often cook menus differents for my family and friends. Another hobby of mine is reading. I read all kind of books and I like to discuss about them. I am really interested about history, other countries and culture. I prefer to watch series and movies on Tv. One of my best characteristics is my tolerance. Nowadays it is very important to be tolerant because there are so many different countries and traditions.
