JULIA, 26 YEARS

Dear Host Family,

I am a person in love with the world, children and life. I am open-minded, dedicated, organized, easy-going and very independent. I like to see the good side of things, I always try to take the opportunities that are offered to me.

I volunteered at a school for 1 year, from August 2013 to October 2014, teaching English and basic computing to children and teenagers, part-time.
I took care of 4 children between 2 yo and 8 yo for a Brazilian family for about 4 months in 2015 full-time. I also have been babysitter on weekends and nights to different families in 2016.
I studied a semester of Pedagogy in the University, but I stopped it to be an Au Pair - I intend to continue after other Au Pair experience.
I also volunteered at a daycare with some coworkers (when I worked at C&A store). In my free time, I used to help to take care of a newborn girl with Down Syndrome, my friend's daughter, she is adorable!

Last year I took care of 2 lovely girls (1 year old and 3 years old).

I had been in Denmark and I loved the country, the culture and the language. I love Europe and I want to be an Au Pair there!

I am an English teacher now and the most part of my students are kids between 4 and 12 years old. I'm loving this experience, of course. I found out what I want to do on my entire life: work with kids!

I also like to explore places, reading, writting, riding a bike, watching some TV series, painting, singing, learning new languages (REALLY), etc. And I'm good at cooking Brazilian desserts. ;D

I want to be an Au Pair because I love what I do, the kids, and the opportunity to travel and to meet different people and their cultures.

"Do your best in the condition you have, while you don't have better conditions to do even better!" - That's something I never forget. ;)
