ANDRESSA, 35 YEARS

Hello dear host families,
My name is Andressa Oliveira, and I'm a 28 years old Brazilian who has living in Boston since 2012.
I graduated from College at the age of 22 with a Bachelor of Language Arts - Concentration in Portuguese language and literature from a top 20 University in Brazil. After that I moved to the USA where I worked as an au pair for 2 years and pursued a Master of Education in English as a Second Language from Cambridge College while still working as a nanny and volunteering as an English teacher for the Boston Public School system.
Throughout the past five years living abroad and extensively traveling the world, I have met people with all kinds of backgrounds. This experience has provided me with a high sense of cultural exchange and a passion for languages.
For me, being able to interact with worldwide individuals that live a life completely different from mine is extremely rewarding and satisfying. I am a curious person that never gets tired of hearing other peoples' stories. I know interacting with children is what I love to do and most importantly, it is what I want to keep doing for the upcoming years of my professional life. I see the au pair program as a great opportunity to live abroad, travel, gain life experience and still work with what I love most: children. I have 8+ years of experience in the field with references and I'm looking forward to be part of your little one's life in one of the "happiest country in the world."
