RENATA, 34 YEARS

My name is Renata Lopes and I am 26 years old. I live in São Paulo-Brazil, São Paulo is a big city and have so many peoples, about 12 million; it is a city known by the diversity and peoples from all the places of world, here is a touristic and lovely place. I love to live here, because São Paulo is beautiful and a big cities where I have access to a lot of entertainment.
I have a small family, my mom Mirtez (52); she is divorced of my father since I was 11. She live together with my sister Michele (22) and we have 2 dogs, Patty and Mike and my dad is Roberto (56) he live alone , all my family live in Minas Gerais.
My dad Roberto (56) works as a big machine operator, he is a very funny man, companion and very responsible, my mother Mirtez (52) is a house cleaner, lovely, friendly, and my sister Michele (22) who is a nurse. My sister loves animals, and she would like to do veterinary medicine, now she is studying to pass the college entrance exam, we love each other very much.
I live alone here in São Paulo, but my parents are distant of me a 6 hours I am very connected with my family despite the distance. My mother and I do many things when are be together. I talk to my family every day and I see him every weekend in video call. My parents are very friendly and understanding, but they are strict when the subject is education and good manners, that is why I grew up very responsible and polite.
My family is very supporting my trip to the Holland, as they know it is going to be very important for my life, it is very good to have an experience in another country. In this way, I can grow more as an independent person, improve my English and learn about this marvellous culture.
I usually spend my free time reading books, studying languages that I love, I also speak Spanish and a little of Arabic, and all this languages I learn by myself, I love going to the swimming pool, riding a bike or walking, and on my weekends, I visit friends, go to the cinema to watch good films that I love such as comedies, drama, adventure and children’s films.
I love to stay at home and cook, watch television, films and TV series, would describe myself as an open-minded, patient and outgoing person, my family and friends say that I´m very funny. I also appreciate cooking and dance. I love to travel, no matter the place, I always enjoy the trip in 2016, I went to Chile 2 times, and I make many friends and love the personal and experience I had there.
In 2010, I started one of the best experiences of my life. I took care of a lot of children in a In a solidarity event, It was an incredible experience and I have learned a lot.The children in the day-care were 1-12 years old and they were from very poor families of my city São Paulo, there I used to do We made several play and donations and after all those things, We deliver the gifts we get from donations. They were very amorous and polite, I loved to make this job and I learned so much with this volunteer job.
I also volunteered at my elementary school, the name of the project was a friend of the school, I helped the children with reading in the classroom, jokes and educational games where our mission was to make the child more interested in Studies, I stayed in this project for about 2 months and because I was called to participate in the basketball team of my city I had to stop with the project to immerse in the sport.

I had an experience I have already taken care of three children, Bruna (1-5), Lucas (1-8) and Agatha (8).
Bruna and Lucas are brothers, are my aunt's children and I always helped her to take care of my cousins, we lived side by side and I loved helping my child in the tasks With my cousins Usually my cousins stayed in the nursery in the morning, I prepared the children's snacks and then left them at school, my uncles had a school bus and worked in the morning, lunch and late afternoon. The children spent the morning studying and came back from school at 12:00 am. When the kids came back I prepared lunch for them, so we did something for entertainment, we played video games, board games, we played ball, hides, watched TV, read books, and many other things, children took a nap in the And after the break we went to check the homework, we did the schoolwork and we corrected the doubts they had about the day's learning. When I did not have a lesson, I planned many things for us to do, such as pencil coloring, with clay, puzzles, swimming, cycling and other different things.
Agatha, the daughter of my currently Thais, with whom my experience was recent, as soon as I moved to Sao Paulo at the age of 21, Thais worked and needed someone to help Agatha develop. São Paulo is a very big city, and the children are raised inside the apartment and often the parents work hard, making the entertainment a little difficult with their son, Agatha was going through a time of turmoil and was in need of a nanny to accompany her Energy rhythm, basically did the same with my cousins, took to school, searched, helped with homework and played many games, Agatha's favorite game was to play Barbie, we made several clothes for the dolls and it was fun to be a stylist along with Agatha.
I have decided to be an Au Pair because I hope this experience can help to improve my English skills and living, working and studying in Holland would be great for my future career. I also would like to travel abroad, know more about Holland way of life, about the Holland culture, and share experience with you. I think that would be fascinating to get to know about other country and culture while working, studying and living there. I want to do my best work and I would take care of your children, as they were my own children. I want to give them all my care and knowledge and I would do it lovely and carefully.
