MARIA, 27 YEARS

My name is Maria Jimena, I prefer to be called Jime. I’ve been living in Denmark for nine months with the Working holiday visa together with my sister Victoria. I’ve fallen in love with the country and the culture, so I’ve decided to try to stay a year or two to learn much more about life in Denmark and to study the language. I am the third of four siblings, I’ve always liked children. When I was younger, I used to take care of my neighbors' children and I really enjoyed it. Today I am dedicated to cleaning kindergartens, schools and the covid test center at Copenhagen airport. Every time I enter a kindergarten I’m happy to see the children playing and saying hello. I’ve been told that I’m a great cook, I really love trying new things as well.
