ARGENTINIAN AU PAIR SEARCHING A FAMILY IN DENMARK
Have you finally got your dream job but it demands a great deal of time and effort? Have you ever wondered how you would manage to complete your work schedule as well as attend to your house, kids, and pets' needs? Do your sweet children need a reliable person with the same level of energy who babysits them while you work hard for their present and future? Does your house require being turned into a pleasant space where you can chill out as soon as you arrive? How long has it been since you last went on a date with your beloved due to all the previously mentioned issues? You could focus on your work peacefully knowing that cheerful kids and a shimmering house are waiting for you at the end of the day. You could also spend quality family time once you've stepped out of your workplace. You could have a right-hand girl that will help you at any time you need. To put the cherry on top, your little ones could have someone to have fun with as well as a language teacher at home, all in one. If you’re a warm and loving family who puts their values and principles first, a respectful and empathetic family who can be trusted, a family who is willing to put their faith in a girl full of dreams, energy, and curiosity, let me tell you I might be the most suitable person for you. I am a committed young woman who lives on her own and has great experience with children. My name is Maribel and I'd be delighted if I became part of your family. I am a 22-year-old Argentinian girl and I am working as an English teacher in my country at the moment. Just in case you're wondering, Argentinian people can also apply for the Au Pair visa for Denmark. And believe me, there's nothing a Filipino Au Pair does that I can't do! I know for a fact that bringing somebody from a non-European country isn't the easiest way, so here's a list of reasons why investing your time and money to have me as your Au Pair is still the best choice: • I am bilingual in Spanish and English. For this reason, there won't exist a language barrier in case your family speaks English. • As Spanish is my mother tongue, your kids can learn this language at home. This will be a great opportunity for them because Spanish is one of the most spoken dialects in the world, but also one of the most difficult. • The cultural exchange between us will be incredibly fruitful. I will be delighted to learn about Danish culture, as I am extraordinarily curious and interested. Of course, I'd love to speak Danish in the future! • Being the eldest sister in my family and having younger cousins has given me enough experience and skills to look after children, even new-borns, and toddlers. • Living on my own has also made me do all types of housework: cleaning, tidying up, laundry, ironing, etc. I have also learned to prepare balanced dishes, so your children's diet will be definitely in good hands. • I have been teaching English to kids from 3 to 18 since 2017. This has forced me to reinvent myself several times, as the learning process doesn't work the same for different ages. • My way of teaching involves a lot of body movement and games. I make sure children learn at the same time they have fun. I don't want them to feel studying is a burden. Of course, it goes without saying that exercising their brain and body simultaneously brings innumerable benefits to their health. • While I'm still in my country, I'll do whatever is possible to fit in with your family. If you need me to drive, I'll get a driver’s licence. So, that won't be a problem. • Due to the fact it's very hard to get a job in my country, this chance is extremely valuable for me. If we agreed I'd work for a whole year, you have my word. I won't quit before. • In case you chose me, I'd be accomplishing my lifelong dream thanks to you. Since I was a young girl, I have always longed for visiting Europe one day and I hope that is the day you accept me as part of your family.   If you have gotten this far in this presentation, you deserve to know what I am like and what motivates me. I'm a very self-motivated person, who's always pursuing a better life. Although I'm really content with my current situation at the moment, I sometimes need big changes as I'm very fond of challenges, too. Outgoing is one of the words that describe me the most. I could talk to people for ages! In my way of seeing it, every person is unique, but also similar to me at some point. So, I love listening to their life experiences; I'm sure I'll find something that I can learn from them, plus something in common, too. That's what makes humans amazing living beings. I'm disciplined and structured. Teaching requires a lot of organization, so it's a must in my life. Last, but not least, I feel very identified with children. I admire how they question everything; I enjoy listening to the way they reason. That's why looking after them doesn't look like a job for me, in fact, it's an absolute pleasure. I strongly believe they have more to teach us than what we can teach them. My family consists of six people: my mother (42), my grandma (70), my brother Facundo (19), my sister Victoria (14), my youngest brother Emanuel (12), and me. My mum had me as a single parent, so I was brought up by her only. My siblings were born after my mum coupled with my siblings' dad. At the time I was born, my grandparents helped my mum a lot, as she was still very young. For this reason, my grandma plays a very important role in my life, she's actually like my second mother. My grandpa was like my father, too, but he sadly passed away 7 years ago. My grandma is retired now but worked as a professor in a secondary school her whole life. From time to time, I come across her former students on the street, and they can't help repeating how kind she was to them. That's the way I'd like to be remembered the day I retire. So, she's a true inspiration to me, of course. Due to my mum's mental condition, bipolar disorder, we've gone through a lot as a family. We had to break the standards of a traditional family. Several times, I had to take up my mum's role and take care of my siblings, who were very young at that time. However, I'm glad that turned out that way because it has given me the strength to be the caring and loving teacher I am nowadays. I have very specific hobbies. I'm into dancing as well as singing. I've been taking dancing lessons since I was a toddler and I can say it's my way to unwind. I have never taken singing lessons, but I sing every time I feel stressed. It makes me disconnect from everything and connect more with myself. So, I can say music plays a very important role in my everyday life. I'm sporty and active, too. I go to the gym regularly. I also play football with a female group of friends from time to time, and I find it very interesting and fun. After being an Au Pair in Denmark, I'd like to keep on polishing my skills as a language teacher in Europe. Being able to participate in children's learning process and growth makes me feel alive. As far as I'm concerned, being trained with a European outlook on education would make a positive contribution to my career. In addition, I hope to learn at least three more dialects aiming to communicate with people all around the world. Becoming a multilingual educator would make me feel fulfilled. If you'd like to make an online call for further information, feel free to contact me! I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best wishes, Maribel
