LUCRE, 31 YEARS

Hi, I'm Lucrecia from Buenos Aires Argentina and I'm 28 years old and I study International Relations (BA degree). I am currently in London, England. I'm a fun, happy, caring person who is willing to help you make your life a little bit easier! I'm a very respectful person, reliable, confident, honest, responsible and optimist. I like punctuality, flexibility and communication, and I think those are the qualities that an au pair must have. -In my free time I like to play soccer. My brothers and I have a mixed men and women soccer team and we play local tournaments; I also love drawing, listening to music, going to museums, picnics, and others outdoor activities. But I also like to stay at home and watch a movie or a show while I drink a nice coffee. -I have a beautiful godson who is now 8 years old. I used to take care of him since he was born until he was 4. His mom, who is my aunt, works a lot and I decided to help her. We are very close. The most important and unforgettable experience is when I was an au pair in the United States. I spent two years in Maryland, very close to Washington, DC. I took care of three beautiful children of, now, a 6 years old girl and two boys of 8 and 10. They are the nicest kids in the world and I loved spending time with them. My main duties were: -Make breakfast, help them get ready for school, sometimes take them to school (15 min walking), take them to sports, pick them up from school, help with homework, sometimes dinner, and spend time with them until both parents came home. During summer time we used to go to the pool and bowling (and sometimes their grandparents joined us, so cool), maybe some playdates and go to a soccer field with kids from the same neighborhood. I had a great time and I learned a lot from them! My last experiencie was taking care of 18 months baby girl, it was a LOVELY! *Since I was with Cultural Care Au Pair, I decided to become an ambassador of the agency, helping au pairs in the area and welcoming new au pairs. -I speak spanish (my mother tongue) and advanced English. I learned English by watching shows since I was a kid, but then in high school, and college. I also took an intensive English course at LADO International Institute of English located in Arlington, Virginia; and before the end of my second year I took another English course at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland. -My expectations are to stablish a good relationship with the family, continue learning english and danish, european culture; make friends and have a great experiencie.
