EMILY, 25 YEARS

Hi! My name is Emily and I would be incredibly excited to be your au pair!
I am certified in CPR, First Aid, Child Care/Babysitting, and teaching English as a foreign language.

I like to stay busy in my city! I attend college, where I am president of a business organization (Phi Beta Lambda), I am a member of an honor society (Phi Theta Kappa), I am a member of the Student Government Association, and I am a peer mentor and office assistant.
Outside of my college, I have two marketing internships: I am a co-chair of the marketing committee at the Humane Society of the Nature Coast (an animal shelter) and a communications intern at the United Nation Association of Tampa Bay. I also volunteer at a local youth shelter where we do art therapy and other sorts of activities. I love going to United Nations conferences! I recently went to one in New York City and I will go to two more in Washington D.C. later this year.
In my free time though I like to travel, read, kayak, spending time with my cousins, and go to museums.
My experience with children has consisted of a lot of volunteer work such as tutoring children when I was in school, volunteering at the library for the children's summer reading program, as said above different coping activities with kids at a local youth shelter as well as babysitting siblings, cousins, and family friends; children for at least 8 years. I will be an Au Pair in Italy this fall from September until December. I would love to teach your children English.

I am becoming an au pair because I have been babysitting and working with children for a long time and I would love to continue. They are the future of our world and should have this time in their childhoods to flourish, grow, and have fun. Also, to me, there is no greater gift than education. It would be an opportunity for them to learn about where I'm from and an opportunity for me to learn about where you're from.
