JEFFREY, 28 YEARS

Hi Family, My name is Jeffery and I am 26 years old. I come from Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. I live with my mum and young siblings,where I learnt how to care for them and ensuring they are clean and feed as my mum goes to work. This is where I harnessed my cooking abilities, caring for my young siblings and looking after our 2 dogs, Snowy and Oreo. I was also able to look after my sister Samantha through the various intrusive surgeries she underwent for a hip joint replacement where I have learnt alot on how to care for her as she went through the process of recovery while doing physiotheraphy as well. I finished high school, did a cerificate in sexual reproductive health and HIV/ AIDs soon after. I love cooking, especially experimenting with new dishes--this I learnt form mygrandfather who was an excellent chef. I am active and love working out especially running, riding a bike, and a good driver. Being an au apair would be an amazing experience and a good opportunity to work with children, the elderly who need constant care and attention, while learning a new culture in a different country.
