BERNADETHA, 27 YEARS

Dear host family, My name is Bernadetha, a 26-year-old female from Tanzania, a country in Eastern Africa. I graduated from the University of Dar es Salaam with a bachelor's in aquatic science and fisheries. I am an entrepreneur and tour company manager with software development and data analysis skills. I was a digital ambassador for youth in my country, passing on all of the knowledge I had gained over the years. I also have basic German language skills that I am still learning on my own. I enjoy learning new things, which allows me to easily transition into new careers and quickly adapt to new environments. I also consider myself to be a creative person because I enjoy doing DIY projects and trying out new recipes from all over the world whenever I can. Traveling is one of my passions as well. I've been to Zanzibar a couple of times and visited some national parks in my country, which was one of the best experiences of my life. Europe has always been my dream destination, and the opportunity to combine an absolutely priceless experience with the opportunity to learn about different cultures and languages while taking care of children will be nothing short of a dream come true. I am a naturally empathic person, and despite being the last born, I have had the opportunity to raise a number of younger siblings in our extended family who are never treated any differently than family.
