LUCY, 27 YEARS

Dear host family; Do you want your kids to be happy everyday? Do you want to work without worrying about you kids ? Do you want your kids to learn English and learn more about my culture ? Will you be happy when you come back from work and find out that your kids were well taken care of ? Don't worry I'm here for you . I'm Lucy 27 years old from Kenya did a short course in hospitality I speak fluent English and I have a knowledge of French,I'm also much experienced with kids between 0-17 . Currently i'm staying with my elder sister and I'm taking care of her newborn three and ten years old kids too. I'm interested to work with any family and I'll be glad for choosing me as your family member. I'll be interested to learn your culture as i introduce mine too I will speak English with the kids as I teach them more I will help them do their home work and other activities like drawing ,coloring ,reading ,baking and many others I will cook for them foods from my country like ugali and samaki which is our main food samaki is a fish while ugali is prepared with maize flour then we also store vegetables with milk to be sweeter I'll introduce that. To the weaning babies I'll make them their special food from my country too . I will bath the kids , wash their clothes , toys their utensils , make their beds neat and other house chores also new born babies I know their rules that their items should be given extra work and kept from adults I will have a nature walk with them ,story tell with them that is stories from my culture I'll play with them that is my traditional games I still remember them because nowadays kids play phone games and others I'll take them to school and pick them from school I'm much experienced with a new born baby so I'll do everything which a new born needs like bathing , massaging ,feeding ,changing diaper being keen with them, singing for him or her "lala Toto lala" which is sleep baby sleep Have worked in a day care I was handling ten kids at a time sometimes I was alone with them and I gave the best care. My granny was employed as a nursery teacher she couldn't worked alone I was helping with all the duties In my church I was selected to teach Sunday school kids we normally do a lot of activities like going to visit them orphans , disabled kids ,the deaf ,the blind not only seeing them but also helping them with washing , bathing them ,changing their diaper giving them medicine ,food ,water and many more Taking care of babies is my favourite job I really love babies and I will do my best I grew up when my mom was a nanny and my dad was a chef in a school ,I used to help them with work after finishing school for two years I'm experienced with first aid and I know how to take care of sick kids like cerebral palsy and a kid who converse one was my sister and my nephew whom I'm taking care of her now not forgetting to give her medicine daily and taking her to the clinic after three months I like cleanliness when a child is clean I'm always happy that will happen when I'm applying them I also like doing house chores I really love cooking and I will be interested to learn new dishes I like to be corrected when I'm wrong I love travelling I love swimming I'm always happy kids make me more happier You will find me story telling with kids than adults I'm ever happy and smiling ever you will just know when I'm sad I like playing with kids
