VIVIAN, 26 YEARS

Dear Host Family, My name is Vivian Achieng and I am a motivated and detail-oriented individual offering a deep passion for kids and strong attention to safety. Besides that, I possess Diploma in purchase and supply management and excellent communication and organizational skills. On top of my key qualities, I have never been an au pair but my adaptability and my willingness to learn makes me want to be one. I took care of my siblings mots of the time and the below are some of the duties i did; Washing and ironing children's clothes. Prepared and served daily meals Helping the children complete their homework and assignments. Occasionally taking the children to the doctors. Providing care to a child when they are sick or upset. Tidying up the children's room. Reading stories to the children. Helping out the parents in maintaining the house by dusting, etc. Picking up after the children have finished playing. This experience has helped me to develop multiple important abilities required to successfully execute the job. Not only I learned how to remain calm in stressful situations but I also significantly improved my time management skills and acquired the ability to lead and coordinate a group of individuals. I am a native Swahili speaker with a proficiency in English . Last but not least, I possess the experience of serving as a Club President at my high school for a year. This activity provided me with a great chance to further develop my teamwork skills and helped me to become a professional I am today.
