We have twins on the way, due early September. We have one very well-trained dog and two indoor/outdoor cats. Our home is in the NW Georgia (US) area, 45 minutes outside of Atlanta. It’s a very safe and beautiful wooded area, .5 mile walk to the lake. I am still researching and will improve my profile soon! I didn’t yet know what to put for salary. Also, our languages are not very good. I know basic Spanish and a little Italian. My husband reads French for work, but cannot speak it. I am in my second year of actively learning Latin, and I’m also learning a little Norwegian. I did not want to be misleading in the profile. We are completely fine if your English is not fluent—if you speak French or Norwegian we can figure out how to converse! About us: We are very easy to get along with, have both lived all over the world (Italy, Germany, and Australia) and have travelled throughout Europe. I have had roommates from all over the world and enjoy learning about other cultures. We are very peaceful and active. I go hiking with the dog everyday and my husband plays tennis. We get along very well, so there are no marital conflicts. We’ve been together 11 years and have been married for 9 years. We do not yet know if the babies are male or female, but we will learn soon and update. We eat healthy home-cooked meals. Tasks: Helping with the babies. Possible tasks: Helping us learn your language. Light housekeeping. Living space: Private bedroom with great lighting and a double window. New carpet. High speed WiFi, central heat and air conditioning. Large closet. Private entrance to the home. We have two kitchens, and you could use both, as well as any other spaces in the house and on the property. We have a pool and sporting courts. We are going to build a fire pit on the property and maybe an outdoor basic sauna. Atlanta has a very large and diverse global community, with people from all over the world. Who we are looking for: We’re looking for someone consistent and kind, ideally with some experience. A healthy energy and enthusiasm is important. We could teach you to drive if you want (it’s not needed for us) and show you around, as well as help with any paperwork you need. I imagine this is something you’d want to do temporarily, but if you decided you wanted to stay more than 12-24 months, we could perhaps hire you as a homeschool teacher and help you acquire permanent residency. These are just some ideas.
