We are a family of 5, including me and my husband ( Christian 43 years old and Jessi, 31 years old) and our three children (all boys, 5 years, 2 years and 7 months old). Our fourth child is expected to be born in the spring of 2018. We are looking for an AuPair who stays at least 12 months.
So you should know some things.
We live in a small village with 6000 inhabitants. The cities of Hamburg, Bremen and Hannover can be reached with an hour drive or about 1.5 - 2 hours train journey. Our village and the surrounding area has a lot to offer, but if you want to experience much in a big city and would like to have Lots of people and City noises around you, we are not the right family for you. Although there is much to discover, but right here in the village it is very quiet and relaxed.
The nearest language course is within 15 km. You can get there by bus, but certainly it would be an advantage for you if you have a driving license.
Very close to us we have a large leisure park (Heidepark).
We are looking for an AuPair from May / June 2018 (or also starting from July or August)
Our eldest son is coming to school next year, the middle one is going to visit the kindergarten.
Our eldest son has a chronic illness and therefore has a few restrictions in everyday life.
We would like to get help with childcare and help in the household. We will define your working hours together (30 hours per week) because every day ist different.
Your room is currently being renovated, it is located in the souterrain, which means half in the basement. It has, of course, a window and is about 16 square meters. You have a lockable door to one side and your own home entrance on the other side. This should also give you enough room for your privacy.
We would like to show you many things of German culture and we believe that you and your culture will be a great enrichment for us and our children.
We know that you come to us from another country and understand when the first few weeks are not easy for you and you get homesick. We sincerely hope that you are going to talk to us if you do not feel comfortable about something, because usually we can solve the problems together. :-)
We live in a family house with a very large garden. We have a Belgian shepherd dog and about 20 chickens. It can also happen that these walk in the garden. So it would be good if you are not afraid of animals.
Besides, you should not be afraid to get a little Bit dirty. Our children love to play outside and discover the world, which usually can not be done without sand, mud or other Things Like that. (I Love my washing machine :-D )

Before you apply, please consider carefully whether it is possible for you to spend your AuPair time in a village. It would be a pity if you would change the family after a while Just because of that.
