MARIE

My name is Marie I’m 40 years old, working as a midwife in Norway and have to lovely kids which I take care of most of the time by my self, as we are separated. Ines is 7 years old and my boy Alfons turns 1 year in august. We also have a cat named Sixten.

As I work at the hospital and it is a shift work I need your help sometimes at night, day and evening.

We live in a completely newly renovated house just a 10 minutes walk from the center of lovely Strömstad that is a town by the sea popular by tourists to visit. It is located just on the border to Norway. You will have your own room, tv room and bathroom.

I am Swedish but have traveled and lived in Chile for one year studying documentary movies. 4 mounts in Brasil were I was an au pair for a 3 year old girl. I have also lived in Spain for 6 mounts studying Spanish and worked at a hotel. So I know what it takes to feel at home and what you need to get the best out of the time here.

So I speek some Spanish and Portuguese and would love to practice it more again and let my children hear and learn those beautiful languages. I think it’s a great gift to the children to give them different cultures and languages. We will of course speek English with you if it’s what you want or need to practice.

I love to have many people around the table, love to cook and to dance (I am a Zumba instructor and also dance salsa, merengue, bachata, kizomba). I’m looking forward to get a new family member and hope that you will feel at home and learn new stuff about this country and about your self.
