Hello. We are looking for an au pair to look after our two children Zoe aged 2.5 and her baby brother Kai aged 4 months, for 6 months (or longer). I work in the head office of a large retail company and my partner Ola works for a medical device company.

We live in a 4 bedroom house with a small garden. It is a 15 minute walk to the city centre and there are 2 bus routes very close to our home. The sea front is only a 20 minute stroll away. There is also a very large green area behind our estate.

At present Zoe attends creche 3 days a week from 9am - 4pm. From September she will attend Monday - Friday for 3 hours a day and you would need to bring and collect her. The children would also need to be feed and entertained. If English is not your mother tongue we are very happy for you to communicate with our kids in your native language.

At the weekends we usually go to town, or local markets and also take drives to the countryside. You of course would be welcome to come along. Galway boasts a large expat community and there is a strong artistic element to the city (known as the culture capital of Ireland).

If you come to live with us for some months you can be sure we'll do all we can so you feel at home and enjoy being another member of the family. We appreciate that people want their own space and we'll try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
