We are a family of 4; and are searching for a bright and energetic Au Pair to help with the children and around the house.

We are based in Coventry in the West Midlands with great transport links all over the country. We are only 5 miles from Birmingham Airport; and 1hr and 15mins to London via train should you wish to travel in your spare time.
The house is a short walk from a train station and bus stop. Plus, only 3 miles from Warwick University.

We are a busy professional couple, who just need an additional pair of hands to help with the children and the home.

The Routine:

Monday-Friday school term time
The au pair would help get the children ready for school (help breakfast them; get dressed; clean teeth; walk to train station; walk to school).


The au pair would then come home tidy the house-vac-up; mop the floors, tidy the kitchen; clean the bath rooms; children's rooms; sort clean washing into piles and iron and put the children's clothes away.

This would be as and when it needs doing (probably 1.5hrs a day)

The morning school run takes 1.5 hours (from 6:30am-8/8:15am drop off at school)


You would have free time until school finishes (3:30/4pm but the children do clubs some days of the week so time may vary). Most days I collect the children; but on the days the kids have no club, we would like you to collect before 4pm and I will collect you all from school by 4:15/4:30pm.

After School pick-up; we'd then eat; do homework; play lots of games-outside in the garden or nearby park/ play inside/lego/dress-up/colouring/learn your language etc...get into pyjamas ready for bed.

Children are in bed by 7:30pm at the latest.

You would be expected to babysit three evenings a week while I go to the gym/swimming/study.

Weekends
You would be free to do as you wish.

I have a holiday home by the seaside so go most weekends; you would be more than welcome to join us if you wanted to, it is situated on the East Coast.

You may be expected to babysit on a Friday or Saturday night but this would be arranged with you in advanced.

Non School time
The children have half term every 6-10 weeks where they have 1-2 weeks off school. During this period, you would be expected to play all day; go on walks to the woods looking for dinosaurs; or go to the local parks for picnics.
(In the garden we have a trampoline; football goals, lots of indoor and outdoor toys; sand pit; wendy house; scooters etc...)

Visit the local library; go to the museums in the city centre; go to the cinema...anything that takes yours fancy...

The summer holidays are 8 weeks long and start at in July and finish at the end of August. School re-starts the first week of September.

Children
Zayn is 7 and Soraya is 4- both are very articulate children who love playing; reading; colouring etc...

Both love swimming and cycling. They both are learning Mandarin; and Zayn is learning to play the cornet too.
Soraya can read and write and is very switched on-but she is only 4 so you have to remember this when talking to her as she appears a lot more older/mature than she really is. She loves hair and make-up and playing with her babies.

Zayn is a kind, sensitive boy; who loves playing football and loves learning about nature and the natural world. He has lots of lego and remote controlled cars.

You would have your own room, with own TV and access to the wifi password/Amazon prime TV/SKY TV. Should you require use of a bike then please let me know.

If you do not have a first aid certificate, I will pay for you to do one.

There are language courses in the city centre (7 min train ride or 25mins on the bus) and at a nearby library (20 min walk from the house).

You would be treated as part of the family and welcomed into the wider family. We do a lot as a family and you would be welcome to join us on family outings; Christmases and birthday celebrations etc...
