We are a loving family of six, who are looking for a replacement for our fantastic au pair, who has been with us for the past 2 years. We are both medical doctors (cardiologist) and our kids attends school/kindergarten. We have three boys and a girl. Our eldest boy is 11 years old and attends 5. grade. Our daughter is almost 5 years old, and the two youngest (twin boys) are 2 years old. The three youngest all attends the local kindergarten. All kids are well-mannered, happy and easy to play with. However, the twin boys are only two, and they fight a lot, so you need to have patience and know how to handle conflicts. We are an easy-going family who all love being together and having fun. We pride ourselves in teaching our kids to be respectful and helpful. They help out in the house and we try to teach them to clean up after themselves and be polite. We hope that our new future au pair will help us to teach the kids to be responsible adults when they grow up. We are looking for a new au pair ASAP. We will need help with everyday practicalities like tiding, keeping the house organized, cleaning, folding and putting away clothes, picking up the kids from school/kindergarten, playing with the kids, occasional babysitting and occasional cooking (if possible). We have a beautiful house with a large garden, a trampoline and a junglegym. The kids have a large playroom full of toys that is located next to the living room and kitchen. We also have a full basement, with extra rooms, laundry room and storage. We have a big room with a queen size bed, sofa, table, TV, and 2 dressers for our au pair. Our neighborhood is very friendly with large green areas and playgrounds close nearby. The city center of Copenhagen with the little mermaid, royal palace, Tivoli and shopping is a short bike or bus-ride away (5 km). There are other families in the neighborhood with au pairs. We also have other friends with au pairs and would be happy to introduce you to them so that you can create new friendships in Copenhagen. What we expect of you: - That you are a woman between 22 and 29 years old - That you are patient and comfortable around small kids - That you have experience with toddlers - That you can take initiative and responsibility and be a third adult in the family - That you are fluent in English - That you can be flexible in regard to your schedule (some weekend-work is required, with due notice) - That you do not have any medical or psychological conditions - That you have a valid passport and a clean criminal record. - non-smoker and do not drink alcohol.
