RYAN

We are the Jacobson Family and thank you for taking the time to see if our family is one you would like to be a part of for a while to help us raise our young kids. Mum – Kyra (31 years old ) Dad – Ryan ( 29 years old ) Eldest Son – De-yontrae, nick name Deyon ( 13 years old ) Middle Son – Sail ( 5 years old ) Youngest Son – Banx ( almost 1 year old ) Ryan is a owns and runs a medium sized engineering company servicing the mining industry and Kyra is a student chiropractor soon to be completing her Masters degree. With Kyra going back to uni full time again soon, we are going to need an extra hand with the youngest child, especially around morning times before school and dinner times and getting kids ready for bed etc Kyra was born in Sydney and Ryan was born in Tasmania, although we have both lived in Mackay since primary school. We have been together for 11 years and our kids were all born in Mackay, where we live now. We are due to get married in October 2023. De-yontrae goes to high school and spends his spare time practicing his musical instruments, playing playstation with his friends and helping out around the house. De-yountrae is a very chilled and relaxed teenage boy who dosnt really get too bothered about anything at all and is happy to go with the flow. De-yontrae has some great friends as he is always very polite and happy to put someones elses needs before his own. Sail is in full time kindergarten and starts his first year of primary school this year ( 2023 ), he is very excited and cannot wait for big school to start. Sail has quite a lot of energy, confidence and character, he is always making everyone laugh. He also has a very big heart and shows a lot of affection, he is a very sweet boy. He shows a lot of interest in his PeeWee 50 Banx is just starting to now get some of his own character and starting to talk, Banx was a planned home birth baby, he is very healthy and his big brothers make him giggle more than anyone else. For our beloved animals, We have 1 dog, Loco, and 2 cows ( in a paddock ) their names are Rolla and Dolphin, they are great help to keep the grass down. We are a busy family with always something happening everyday, Monday – Friday Ryan is working and Kyra is Studying. Most weekends we always make time to go somewhere for a swim or to hang out with friends. We are very outgoing people and have a large group of friends, we would be very happy for you to join us on all our family adventures and holidays. Most of our close family is also in Mackay. We live about 15 mins from the centre of the city of Mackay, we are situated on the side of a hill with a 5 acre property, we have 1 neighbour whom we get along with very well. We have amazing views of the valley and love watching the storms and sunsets from our balcony. Your room is a large bedroom with a walk in wardrobe and direct access to a shared main bathroom. Your room has been recently painted and new carpet put in. We always eat dinner together every night at the dinner table and make time for quality family chat, except when Ryan is working away out of town some times. We mostly each organic fruit and vegetables, we are happy to cater for any dieting requirements. What do we want in our Au Pair? Our perfect Au Pair will be someone who is relaxed and chilled with a big loving heart for our kids. The following key strengths is what will fit in well in our house • Great Communication Skills • Willing to help with tidying up and preparing meals • Accepting and open minded outlook on life • Happy and easy going personality Most weeksdays will be 7am wake to help Kyra get the breakfast made and lunches prepared for school. The eldest boy prepares all his own. Most days Kyra will drop Sail to school and pick him up, every now and then you will need to drop Sail and Deyon to school and other days Ryan will be able to drop them to school also, Deyon can also catch the bus to and from school some times too. During the day will be helping Kyra with the youngest boy Banx while kyra continues her uni studies . We look forward to speaking with you soon about becoming an Au Pair for our family. We are very excited to have someone come and give us a hand to raise our beautiful children.
