Dear Host family Thank you very much for your time and consideration to read my letter. * I have a valid passport* * Ready to start ASAP* * Very fluent in English* * German A1 Certificate* * Fully Vaccinated * My name is Prisca currently in Capetown South Africa and 23years old.l'm from Zimbabwe and l would love the opportunity to be part of your family as a big sister,an Au-Pair and help you around your home.l'm writing to express my interest in the au pair program. * I have very good communication skills therefore l'm very fluent in English and have basic knowledge of German A1.l would love to learn new language as well during my Au pair stay. *I have an extensive experience of 3yrs with taking care of kids from 2 months old- 12yrs old. *I'm very confident and l guarantee you l would be an amazing big sister because I have all the necessary skills,l have been looking after kids in South Africa for the past 3years now. *I'm also aware that being a big sister comes along with responsibilities therefore I do everything exceptionally. *As your Au pair my goal would be to create a safe environment,fun and stimulating environment for child(ren) ,as well as build a positive relationship with your family. *I'm an out going person , patient,compassionate, reliable very flexible, creative and very responsible. *I'm so flexible to anything and always compromise if l'm needed for anything. *With all this experience l have learnt to respect people l live with and be able to comfort kids when they are sick or upset also to give them love, care and attention they need. My beautiful nanny experience with kids triggered my passion of wanting to look after kids from my local area and abroad.l want to be an au pair because it will give me an opportunity to meet new people and learn new culture .l will also improve my language skills.Being an au pair will help me to understand difference and similarities between culture and human in it.l'm passionate about helping and assisting the vulnerable that is kids with their special needs. My first experience was to take care of a 2 months old lovely baby and 9 year old girl .This was family took me from Zimbabwe to work for them as a stay inn nanny .l did cater for the baby during the day and fulfill all her needs,like wash her play ,change diapers and give her food according to the given time table from the parents.My responsibilities were to clean the house ,do laundry , cook for the family and play with them . Second Family was South African They had 5months old baby and 7 year old girl.My duties were cleaning and tidying the house ,bedroom and other areas agreed with the parents. Cleaning ,laundering and mending the children's clothes and toys. Cleaning ,and tidying the accommodation provided for the nanny . Caring for children when they are sick and administering medicines . Providing well balanced and nutritious meals appropriate to the needs of the children. Taking children to nursery and school. Communicating with parents on all aspects of the care for children . Responsible for maintaining household equipment relating to care of children. Dancing during our free time because she was taking dance classes at school. Third family from Belgium. 3year old girl and 8 year old boy and 13 year old boy.My duties is to cater for children. Cleaning and laundering and mending the children's clothes and toys. Taking children to play . Making breakfast, lunch for them. Help them get dressed,brush hair ,brush tooth put pyjamas on. Packing their school bags Vaccum the house Cleaning bathrooms twice a week Changing bedding every week Cleaning windows whenever necessary Help with school home work and creating fun games together Helping with potty training. Taking them on outings appropriate to their age and stage development eg park , cycling. Ability to use all equipment related to the care of the children e.g.car seats Wednesday we go out for skating. Help with nursery rhymes. Cleaning and tidying the house ,bedroom and other areas agreed with the parents.
