Dear Future Host Family, My name is Lushomo Faith Mwiinga, and I am a 29 year old university graduate from Zambia. I am incredibly excited to become an Au Pair and educational role model for your lovely children. I am a mature, patient, and highly responsible individual who genuinely loves spending time with children and supporting their growth.I have an absolute love for cultural exchange. I am a very open minded person, and I have always wanted to stay abroad so as to experience different ways of life, cultures, nature, varied weather, and different food cuisines. I love to explore new environments and truly appreciate the unique differences that make each country special! You should host me because I bring a unique combination of academic capability and real-world maturity to your home. Having completed my Bachelor's degree at the University of Zambia, I am fully equipped to act as a mentor and big sister for your children, helping them with their homework and language learning as I'm fluent in English. I love organizing fun activities outdoors, fun and games, playing casual sports like basketball, and creating a fun, safe environment. I look forward to fitting into your family seamlessly! My Experience with Childcare:I have deep, lifelong experience with hands-on childcare. Following the loss of my beloved mother when I was 13 years old, I stepped into a primary caregiving role for my younger sister from the time she was 6 years old, managing her daily school routines, meals, and well-being. Even prior to that, I actively assisted with her care during her preschool years. I also used to look after my neighbors' kids and babysit them whenever they needed to go out when I was in high school. While I have not worked as a commercial babysitter, caring for children comes naturally to me. At family gatherings, children instinctively gravitate toward me, and I always take charge of minding them and organizing fun activities. I also have practical experience assisting with infants, including helping an aunt with bottle-feeding, soothing, and diaper changes for her newborn. This lived experience has given me a profound understanding of child safety, patience, and the daily dedication required to help a child thrive.
