LINA, 25 ÅR

Dear Family,
my name ist Lina and I am from Germany. I would really like to come to New Zealand to work and have fun with children, improve my English and explore the nature. I am an interested and open-minded person so I am really looking forward to joining your family and helping you with your daily duties.

About me
I live in Elmshorn near Hamburg (Germany) in a family of five, with my parents and my two siblings. I am 18 years old (birthday March,13) and I have one brother (Jost,16 years) and one sister (Emma,12 years), so I am the oldest of us three. Also we have two rabbits called Schecki and Flöckchen.
In July 2017 I passed my university entrance diploma (Abitur) so I want to do a year abroad and study afterwards. I really love to travel a lot to see different places and cultures, so I would like to see as much as possible of New Zealand too.
I have my driving licence since September 2016, so maybe you could show me how to drive on the left side.
I play Handball for 10 years in a team in Elmshorn and I really love it like doing sports generally, like e.g. surfing. Also I take piano lessons once a week in a music school. I danced ballet for 10 years but I had to give it up because my handball training was on the same day.
In my freetime I like to meet my friends, going to Hamburg, bake cakes and cookies, reading books, going to the cinema and doing other activities like that.
In the past when my siblings were younger I often had to take care of them and I loved playing with them too, so like with young children in general. Our family goes on vacation every year where we meet our friends, who are also families with only younger children than me so I often do something with them what I enjoy.

I would like to work as an au pair because I like to take care of your children, like help and support them in their daily routine, play and just have fun with them. Also I am interested in getting to know how life in New Zealand and your daily routine looks like and get to know you and the people and culture.
