ALISHA, 32 ÅR

Hello my future host family,

My name is Alisha, I live in Nonthaburi, Thailand (quite close Bangkok) I am a friendly person, as they say that I am fun to be with. I have good interpersonal skills, hardworking and can handle pressure. I am really interested to become an Au Pair. I actually think I am a perfect fit as I love to taking good care of people, especially children so would love the opportunity to lighten your burdens, also housework as well.

I have quite alot of experience of dealing with difference type of children in tutoring classes, that including kids who has mental illness (autism, mental retardation, conduct disorder and etc.), needs more extra care. Also my friend is a therapist working in children health care and mental health, we talk about it alot. I feel these experience means that I can empathize with your family as well.

I am also interested in European culture, language, education etc. Would be great if we have time to share each other! There are times that I just want to sit and share ideas with people or more likely initiate a friendly conversation. Hiking is my most favorite, Workout, Yoga, Swim, Badminton, Watching TV Show and Series for improve language skill, Reading, Cooking.

What would you like to do after being an Au Pair?
As i mentioned before, I am happy and love to look after people so i wish i could study more in university, health care or mental health subjects and i hope to settle in Europe eventually.

I would like to quickly explain a little more about myself, i hope you don't take offence! I am trans and, whilst I have lived as a girl full time for many years, I have dealt with many difficulties that come with growing up in this way and can identify with other peoples struggles as a result. I am the eldest in the family, so I assume the responsibility if my parents are not around. I serve as a role model to my siblings. I have two siblings, a 21-year old and 24-year old brothers. We have a small restaurant as a source of income and managed by my parents. I do most of the household chores, help my siblings with their lessons and answer questions if they have. I really think that I can perform the job very well knowing that I do have an experience when it comes to children. I can assure you that I will be a good Au Pair to the family that I will be living in.
